Pierpont Morgan's immense holdings ranged from Egyptian art to Renaissance paintings to Chinese porcelains. For his library, Morgan acquired illuminated, literary, and historical manuscripts, early printed books, and old master drawings and prints. To this core collection, he added the earliest evidence of writing as manifested in ancient seals, tablets, and papyrus fragments from Egypt and the Near East. Morgan also collected manuscripts and printed materials significant to American history.

The Pember Nature Preserve

The Pember Nature Preserve, donated to the Pember Library and Museum in 1979, encompasses 125 acres of forest, wetland and fields on both sides of Black Creek, a tributary of the Battenkill. The mission of the Pember Nature Preserve is to provide a refuge for the region's native wildlife and plant species.

The paint Place in New York City is a place where creative and artistic people can explore their talent with colors. Having conducted various Painting Classes for people of all age groups, the team at The Paint Place has made sure that it awakens the painter hidden in each individual they come across. This place is also known to have organized a number of group events, corporate events and team building events where the participants are asked to paint on canvas. It is indeed a wonderful place for people to master the techniques of art and painting and for others to simply have fun with friends and family.
