To perpetuate the military aircraft history of all nations and to preserve these aircraft, artifacts for future generations and the significance of the contribution to civilian aviation development and safety of modern flight.

The Venice Museum & Archives (VMA) is housed in the charming and historical 1927 Triangle Inn listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum is located near Venice Beach and within walking distance of downtown Venice. The VMA has temporary and permanent exhibits on display year round, such as "Dr. Fred H. Albee: A New Beginning for Nokomis and Venice" and "Venice Area Fossils from the Burgess Collection." It is located at the west entrance of the Venice Cultural Campus that includes the Venice Public Library, Venice Art Center, and Venice Community Center. The VMA is also across the street from West Blalock Park. Open Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays from 10am to 4pm, Thursdays and Fridays by appointment. Also open the first and third Saturdays of each month from 11:00 a.m.
