Studio Six Art Conservation's primarily focused is on the conservation of historic objects such as furniture, household artifacts, decorative arts and items of an ethnographic nature. Specializing in the treatment of objects composed of wood or organic materials such as ivory, jade, lacquer, boulle, tortoise and mother of pearl.
Conservation Treatment – Treatment plans that combine new technologies with traditional materials. Our treatments focus only on the conservation of damaged areas, altering as little of the original material as possible.
Condition Reports and Collection Assessments – Detailed examination of individual objects or whole collections with suggested conservation treatment plans, including storage recommendations and basic annual maintenance plans.
