Mission

The mission of the Weber County Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum is to preserve and maintain the Weber County Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum building and the Miles Goodyear Cabin, and to remember the lives and achievements of Utah pioneers, especially those who founded our Weber County communities, by collecting and preserving artifacts, photographs, and histories, and by sharing their stories through exhibits, publications, and programs, thus increasing understanding and appreciation for the pioneer heritage of Weber County (2012)

History

Our historic building was moved in January 2012 to a new location.

This cabin, built in 1845, is the first permanent home built in Utah by a white man.
