The Museum Gallery is located on the second floor of the White Plains Public Library at 100 Martine Avenue in White Plains. The entrance to the gallery is directly up a flight of stairs (or an elevator) to a lobby area for the gallery, (handicapped equipped) after which visitors enter the gallery through a set of glass doors and immediately view the room inside (shown in the two photos). The gallery has exhibitions of local and regional artists every few months, and all the shows are free and open to the public.
Recent shows have included a retrospective "The Art of Dr. Seuss" that opened in February '10, a solo of show of paintings by David Bradford that opened in October '10 and the exhibition that's currently at the gallery: 'Two Birds Eye Views", illustrations by scientific illustrators Judith Aronow and Dorie Petrochko, that opened a few months ago and runs there until March 23rd, after which the Tobey show that will open March 30th will be installed.
