The permanent collection of St. Bonaventure University at the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts consists of approximately 1800 works of art from across a wide span of history. The collection includes paintings from Venetian Renaissance artists Giovanni Bellini and Bernardino Licinio to our selection of 17th century Dutch art featuring a portrait from the workshop of Rembrandt, and paintings by Ferdinand Bol, Jan Victoors, and Jan Wynants. Important works by Thomas Lawrence, Peter Frederick Rothermel, Theodore Robinson, William Bliss Baker, Edward Burne-Jones, Ernest Lawson, and Ludwig von Langenmantel, to name just a few, are also displayed. In addition, the Center exhibits the University's impressive collection of non-Western art. These objects include six Japanese wooden Nio guardian figures, a bronze Thai Buddha, several Chinese export porcelain vases, along with dozens of smaller wood, ivory, and jade carvings from China and Japan. Many of these works will be familiar to alumni, as they were previously on display in the Friedsam Memorial Library for many decades.

In addition to the university's art collection that is permanently on view, there is a prints and drawings study room where students and scholars can examine works on paper from the collection of almost 1000 drawings from Durer to Picasso.

The Arts Education Program at the Quick Center includes programs for Pre-K through college level students. Thanks to the generosity of private and business donors, the Quick Center is able to bring children to the museum for activities, art lessons, and tours led by volunteer docents and SBU student interns. Programs include Tours for Tots, Third Grade World Tour, Challenger Mission Tours, Juried Exhibitions for elementary, middle, and high school students, Art from the Heart, Professional Development Days for local Art teachers, Family Day for the community, Summer Library Programs and more.
