Built in 1709, Dutchess County's oldest homestead; 17 rooms of furnishings, porcelain, paintings, books, tools and gardens. Owned for seven generations by the Brett family.

Mission

The mission of the Madam Brett Homestead is to preserve the homestead and collections of Catheryna Rombout Brett and seven generations of descendants who occupied her house and to share the family’s story of nearly 275 years in southern Dutchess County of New York State with the public.
