Historic Living Museum: The Board of Directors has made the decision to re-open the 8th Maine Lodge and Museum in 2022! The reservation system will be activated on October 1, 2021 for guests wanting to make lodging reservations for the 2022 season. We will be opening on Monday, June 20, 2022 and stay open until Sunday, September 25, 2022.

When we open we will be adhering to the CDC and the State of Maine guidelines. Those guidelines will likely include the need for a vaccination or proof of a negative Covid test, masking, social distancing and etc. By next spring we will know what those guidelines will be. IF, something happens between now and then all the reservation monies will be refunded.

We are excited that Bill and Dawn Hackett will be back as Manager and Host. They are looking forward to seeing all our repeat guests and hopefully some new guests. Also, in 2022, we will be celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the 8th Maine Regimental Association. Details on that celebration will be announced in early 2022. Please come and enjoy the 8th Maine and all the history, beauty and charm.
