The Discovery Museum is a public service educational institution dedicated to fostering curiosity, wonder and stewardship by revealing the links between history, science and technology in the lives of everyday people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds.

Sacramento region and Gold Rush artifacts, antiquities, ethnic and tribal artifacts, folk art, interpretive and interactive stations

Hours of Operation

Open Tuesday to Sunday and Monday holidays 10:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. (September to June). Open daily 10:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. (July and August)
