Description
The Peel Mansion and Historic Gardens

The Peel Mansion and Historic Gardens in Bentonville serve as a living display of that period for those touring the mansion and gardens as well as those who rent the 1875 mansion to create personal memories of their own.

The Peel Mansion and Historic Gardens were built in 1875 by Colonel Samuel West Peel. Much care was taken in erecting this magnificent house, a wonderful example of the Italianate Villa Style.

The interior of the house was furnished with authentic antiquities and artifacts of the era, generously loaned by the Historic Arkansas Museum and the Old State House.

The Peel Mansion and Historic Gardens offers a variety of event options. We can accommodate your wedding ceremony, reception, and / or rehearsal dinners, group luncheons and tours, or civic or corporate events.

Please visit our website for more details on our event rental options or to learn more about the history of the Peel Mansion and Colonel Peel and his family. Many options exist for volunteer opportunities. The Peel Compton Foundation is a nonprofit organization and depends upon annual giving to help carry out its mission to preserve the past and educate the future residents of Northwest Arkansas about it's pioneer past.
