We rotate out of our permanent collection and highlight special exhibits brought in by other organizations or private collectors

Items to be loaned must be appraised by owner and documented for insurance purposes prior to loan agreement. Items must be in displayable condition with no contamination to other museum collections. A set time frame for display must be agreed upon by both parties. Items must be allowed to be photographed for marketing and advertising programs. All donations acquired by the museum in conjunction with the loaned items will stay with the museum as a donation to upkeep the exhibit.

We have to archive rooms and a work preparation room for preparing exhibits on-location

Artifact Collections

50,000 artifact military collection ranging from the Revolutionary war to the War in Afghanistan

Research Collections

=10,000 paper item collection from Pre Civil War enlistment papers to WWII war documents to OIF documents

Programs

The Northern California Veterans Museum (NCVM) works with schools in the Northern California area providing brown bag tours and lectures, movie night, docent tours, special group tours, educational items and uniforms maybe loaned to teachers for students edification at the school location. Museum coloring books maybe sponsored and handed out to youth by local businesses. The NCVM is a Plank Owner with the Veterans History Project and continues to glean veterans oral histories, oue CEO Rob Burroughs is also the President for NorCal Honor Flight responsible for taking our WWII Veterans back to Wash DC to see the WWII Memrorial, we also work with the Northern California Veterans Cemetery at Igo, CA performing and documenting Veterans stories. Veterans are admitted for free, seniors pay $3.00/ youth $3.00/ general adm is $5.00
