Description

The Museum is in the book "Lego- A Love Story" by Johnathan Bender

We offer private tours, group tours, school tours, motor coach tours, senior tours, and more. We offer birthday parties, retirement parties, red hat parties, anniversary parties, and weddings. Plus anything you might come up with. We will visit schools, churches, libraries and more.

Our vision is to show the there is creativity, science, and more taught through the building and planning of a project while using Lego. Lego is a toy yet now used in teaching classes for the young minds of the world to grow. You are never to old to learn on your own or those in history.

History

The Museum was founded by Lego artist Dan Brown. Later it was taken over by the Bellaire Historical Society so that we would have the opportunity to reach out to many more children. We now go into schools and plan Lego classes, we given talks and seminars, and open our doors for a school to come and learn first hand at the museum as well. Lego is not just for children, it teaches the mind of all people from age 2 to 100.

In 2007 we received the first award for holding a Guinness World Record and in 2010 we are in the process of trying for our second world record. With the help of children and adults there is never a high enough point to say quit. A challenge is that, to be challenged and won while learning. Lego is a very good instrument in teaching a mind to think and grow, create and reach.

Artifact Collections

We have toy and Lego displays from all over the world. We are talking from Denmark, Germany, China, to the USA.

We provide a staffed tour if asked. This covers who we are, history of the building, city, History of Lego and how the museum became. Also we include the history of all display and any questions you may have.
