Description

Artlink is a not-for-profit art gallery whose mission is to showcase artwork of highest quality by emerging and mid-career artists and encourage communication among artists, art teachers, art students, publishers and others involved in artistic activities. Artlink conducts educational programs for children, students, artists and the commuity.

History

Artlink started in the apartment of an art lover; it was a meeting place for young artists and has evolved into a showplace for exhibiting the trends in contemporary art through the innovative work of national and regional artists since 1978. In 1991, Artlink acquired its' permanent home in Fort Wayne's Hall Commuity Arts Center, enhancing its' visibility in the community. The Hall houses three other not-for-profit arts organizations: Fort Wayne Dance Collective, Fort Wayne Cinema Center, and Arch, an historic building preservation group.
