History

Founded in 1943 and built first museum and archives in 1964. Moved to new facility in downtown Geneva in 2004. Funded completely through the generosity of local citizens and organizations without any tax monies.

Artifact Collections

Approximately 15,000 artifacts including fine arts, folk arts, costuming, textiles,manufactured goods, household goods, et al. all connected to local history.

Research Collections

Maps, photographs, manuscripts, court records, business/organizational records,et al all connected with local history

Educational Programs

exhibits (see above), lectures, Heritage Roundtables, award winning Childrens programs of all kinds
