Description

Pamplin is a world-class 422-acre park with award winning museums, a historic Civil War battlefield, Antebellum plantation homes, living history demonstrations, complete educational programs, the Civil War Store, and the Hardtack and Coffee Café.

History

Founded in 1992 by the descendants of the wartime owners, Pamplin Historical Park is now one of the largest privately-funded museum complexes in America.
