Central Washington Agricultural Museum

The museum is located within Fullbright Park of Union Gap, Washington, at the base of Ahtanum Ridge. It's park like surroundings are home to multitudes of horse drawn and early mechanical farm machinery and equipment, farmsteads, the Magness Room displaying over 3,000 antique hand tools, the steam engine used to power the Old Naches sawmill, a collection of bells from the valley schools, a working sawmill, blacksmith shop, apple packing line and the home of the Lindeman Tractor. All of this and more are combined to create this one of a kind Agricultural Museum, and the largest historical museum in motion in the Pacific Northwest.

Museum of Glass

All glass, all the time. Housed in a striking building distinguished by its iconic 90-foot-high cone, the Museum of Glass features ongoing glassblowing demonstrations in the Hot Shop Amphitheater, where visitors learn about the creative challenges of working with molten glass. The 13,000 square feet of gallery space is dedicated to changing exhibitions of works executed in glass. A hands-on art studio is available for visitors of all ages, our theater shows a variety of films on artists who work in glass, and the Museum Store offers a large selection of glass objects. The Museum is located on the picturesque Thea Foss Waterway and is part of the Tacoma Museum District, which is linked by the Chihuly Bridge of Glass

New Dungeness Lighthouse

The New Dungeness Lighthouse was the first lighthouse completed in Washington Territory. It has operated continuously providing navigational aids to ships plying the waters of the Strait of Juan de Fuca since its lard oil lamp was lit for the first time on 14 December 1857. Originally, there were two full-time Keepers who lived in the Lighthouse. In 1904 a dwelling for the Officer-in-Charge was constructed east of the Lighthouse. Today this dwelling is known as the Keeper's Quarters

Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve

Padilla Bay is an estuary at the saltwater edge of the large delta of the Skagit River in the Salish Sea. It is about eight miles long (north to south) and three miles across. In 1980, this bay was selected to be included in the National Estuarine Research Reserve System.

Museum of Flight

The independent, non-profit Museum of Flight is one of the largest air and space museums in the world, attracting more than 400,000 visitors annually. The Museum’s collection includes more than 150 historically significant air- and spacecraft, as well as the Red Barn®—the original manufacturing facility of The Boeing Co. The Museum’s aviation and space library and archives are the largest on the West Coast. More than 100,000 individuals are served annually by the Museum’s on-site and outreach educational programs. The Museum of Flight is accredited by the American Associations of Museums, and is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution.
