The Kent State University Museum

The Kent State Museum contains important collections of fashion and decorative arts. Its eight galleries feature changing exhibitions of work by many of the world's great artists and designers. Closely linked to the Shannon Rodgers and Jerry Silverman School of Fashion Design and Merchandising at Kent State University, the Museum provides students with first-hand experience with historic and contemporary fashions, as well as costumes representing many of the world's cultures. An extensive collection of American glass, fine furniture, textiles, paintings and other decorative arts combine to give context to the study of design.

Denison Museum

The Denison Museum in Burke Hall houses the collections and exhibition spaces of Denison University. The collections comprise nearly 8,000 objects from Asia, Africa, Europe, and North and Central America. The display spaces are not only used to showcase the permanent collection, but are also devoted to the presentation of a wide variety of exhibitions. The work of senior art majors is presented at the end of each season.

Paul Robeson Cultural & Performing Arts Center
Wilberforce, Ohio

The Paul Robeson Cultural and Performing Arts Center, dedicated in 1978, is named in honor of Paul Robeson, renowned scholar, athlete, and star of stage and screen. The Robeson Center houses the art and music departments, classrooms, and studios. The building includes an 850-seat auditorium equipped for presentations in music, dance, and theater as well as a small recital hall. Dr. Camille O. and William H. Cosby commissioned a large sculpture of Robeson, which sits in front of the Center.
