The Bartlett Museum, located in the Gotten House, contains historical displays that serve to help our citizens learn about the rich heritage of our community and its former citizens. In addition, the Museum is furnished with period furniture which allows it to retain that 'homey' feeling while one is visiting the building. Our vision and goal is and always has been to educate our citizens about the community's heritage and preserve that heritage for future generations.

Doak House Museum

The Tennessee Historical Commission provides management over site and the Governor John Sevier Memorial Association (GJSMA for short) is a local organization which runs the daily operation of the park. The GJSMA is also in charge of the numerous ongoing restoration projects around the park, not only to keep and maintain the exciting eight historical buildings, but to expand when possible the other buildings and workshops of John Sevier’s time.

Pink Palace Museum: The Pink Palace Museum is one of the largest facilities of its kind in the Southeast. You can walk through a replica of the first self-service grocery store in the country, Clarence Saunders' Piggly Wiggly. Explore the cultural and natural history of the Mid-South through exciting exhibits, dioramas and audio-visuals. Trace Memphis' development from the time of Spanish explorers through the Civil War and the yellow fever epidemics. Learn from the award-winning medical exhibit how health care grew to be Memphis' largest industry.

You will also see how dinosaurs and fossils dramatically chronicle our ever-changing planet.

West Tennessee Regional Art Center

The West Tennessee Regional Art Center opened in 1994 in the restored city hall building in Humboldt, Tennessee. The nonprofit museum houses the Caldwell Collection as its permanent exhibit (the only permanent fine art collection between Memphis and Nashville) and has changing exhibits in its other three galleries.

President Andrew Johnson Museum and Library

The President Andrew Johnson Museum and Library is housed in the second oldest building on the Tusculum College campus-"Old College". The building was built in 1841 for a total of $4,245.62. Andrew Johnson gave a $20.00 donation for the construction of the building, one of the largest local donations according to the minutes of the Board of Trustees.
