The Betty Brinn Children's Museum is dedicated to providing interactive exhibits and educational resources that promote the healthy development of children in their formative years—from birth through age ten. The Museum experience encourages hands-on learning and the development of fundamental skills, self-esteem, and the ability to work with others. Caregivers use the Museum as a resource that provides information on early childhood brain development, learning styles, and effective parenting skills. The Museum maintains a strong commitment to providing access to all children and families in the community, including low-income and special needs families.

View authentic 19th century farm life and peek inside a lime kiln to discover how limestone was converted to a commercial and agriculture chemical. Listed on the National Regiser of Historic Places and designated a State Historic Site and a Milwaukee County Landmark, Trimborn Farm is unique - a Civil War farmstead in the midst of a major metropolitan area.
The only Milwaukee County Park devoted to a historic theme, Trimborn Farm boasts nine period buildings including one of the largest stone barns still standing in Wisconsin, a granary constructed using the German method of "nogging," and four kilns used for over 50 years.
Trimborn Farm is open to school groups by appointment.

The year 2010 will offer visitors dynamic special exhibits and activities for kids and adults. Our summer exhibit, “Adventure Dinosaur!” will feature a prehistoric park, with more than 25 dinosaurs – lurking, moving and rumbling in their tropical outdoor habitat. The exhibit runs May 29 – September 6, and is $2.50 per person after regular Zoo admission.
