At the bridge on Sturgeon Bay's west-side waterfront. Open daily. Features city's shipbuilding history, lighthouse exhibit, pilot house from working freighter, periscope. Gift shop with extensive collection of maritime books and gifts. Don't miss the museum's extensive new exhibit entitled Freshwater Fury running May 24, 2008 through January 20, 2009. Also, tour the 149-foot tug John Purves located on the seawall in from the Museum beginning mid-July 2008.

The Fairfield Center for Contemporary Art

Located in the heart of historic downtown Sturgeon Bay at the corner of 3rd and Michigan. 2007 Exhibits include British sculptor Henry Moore's WWII-era "Shelter Drawings," a series of facsimile collotypes from the permanent collection; the Wisconsin Arts Board 2006 Visual Arts Fellows; and the 5th Annual "Art of the Trees."
