The Robesonia Furnace operated from 1794 to 1927 making pig iron. The Friends of the Robesonia Furnace operate a small musuem in what was the original Robesonia Furnace Firehouse.The musuem contains displays on the furnace operation and the town of Robesonia.
The Old Dry Road Farm is a living history and educational center in the Blue Marsh Lake Recreation Area of Berks County, Pennsylvania that features two original farmsteads; the partially restored Brecht-Dundore-Hottenstein Complex and an 18th century farm relocated here for preservation. Visitors can learn about different aspects of 18th and 19th century farm life. Tours and special events are held often.
