Founded in 1975, Crealdé was the brainchild of late Winter Park businessman William S. Jenkins. In addition to owning a successful construction company, Jenkins was a talented artist. He established Crealdé to promote community artists by creating affordable studio rental space and a gallery.

Today this successful not-for-profit community arts center offers a year-round curriculum of more than 80 affordable classes in painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and ceramics for adults and children. Its faculty is comprised of more than 40 professional working artists who teach beginning, intermediate and advanced classes. Facilities include a professional dark room, ceramics studio, foundry, two galleries and sculpture garden.

The Orlando Science Center serves as the hub of informal science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) learning in central Florida. Each year more than 300,000 guests enjoy interactive and engaging exhibits and demonstrations as well as our giant screen films, planetarium shows and observatory. School break and summer camps provide thousands of children from preschool through high school to explore science concepts from engineering to CSI, in-depth and hands-on. The Hannibal Square Heritage Center

The Winter Park Historical Association partners with several regional institutions to research and promote the history of our area. We are founding members of the Winter Park Cultural Consortium and participate in many city-wide festivals to share with our residents and visitors the rich history of this lovely community. Our annual garden tour takes place in a different historic neighborhood each April. Not only do our participants have the opportunity to stroll through a lovely neighborhood and into private gardens, but a written history included in the program makes all aware of this community's heritage. Our museum exhibitions change and are informative, educational, creative and occasionally whimsical.

Goldenrod Historical Museum

Ten years of hard work and dreaming on the part of many Goldenrod citizens came to fruition on Friday, August 11, 2000. On that day, the Goldenrod Historical Society accepted the keys to the Goldenrod Fire Station from Orange County as the first step in developing a new Community Center to be called the Goldenrod Station and Museum. Celebration of the Grand Opening of the Museum was held on October 6, 2001. As a community center the renovated Fire Station is also available to the community for business meetings, club meetings and social events. The rentals from these events help defray the cost of maintaining the Station.

Among the more than 5,000 works ranging from antiquity to contemporary, we hold the only European Old Masters collection in the Orlando area, a sizable American art collection, and the forward-looking Alfond Collection of Contemporary Art, shown both at the museum and at The Alfond Inn a few blocks from campus.

The Mennello Museum of American Art

The Mennello Museum of American Art was founded in 1998 by the City of Orlando with a generous selection of paintings by self-taught artist Earl Cunningham (1893-1977) donated from the collection of Michael and Marilyn Mennello. It's the largest collection of Cunninghams in existence and remains on permanent display. Tucked away on a picturesque shore of Lake Formosa in Orlando Loch Haven Park, the museum is housed in what was once the private home of Howard Phillips, son of philanthropist Dr. P. Phillips. A Smithsonian Affiliate, the museum also uses its gallery spaces to showcase changing exhibitions featuring American art of all genres and time periods, including originally curated and traveling shows. A lakeside sculpture garden is another attraction.
